Nicolas Engel is a pianist, improvisation artist and electronic virtuoso who plays his own compositions as well as classical pieces and cover songs. His elaborate and touching music reflects his treasure of experience and ingenuity. Nicolas Engel creates a universe of sound with continuous and exciting variations, thrilling moods, trancelike rhythms and lots of musical storytelling. At the Lucerne University he completed his master's degree in Music and Art Performance with Urban Mäder and Jacques Demierre, the Master in Music Education with Yvonne Lang and the Piano Classics Bachelor with Hiroko Sakagami. Currently Nicolas Engel is living in Zürich, working on different art projects, playing music in clubs and in the streets and collecting for a Steinway grand piano.
